Eligibility Criteria
Job Title: Engineer Testing / Senior Engineer Testing
Job Location: Chennai
Experience: 1.5 – 4 years
Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in Engineering / MCA/MS
Job Responsibilities:
Technical member of team who is systematic and has good observation and analytical skills, contributing to test documentation preparation, test suite development, test automation and test execution, in addition to problem tracking and closure
Essential Knowledge / Skill and Expertise: Candidates should have worked in any of the protocols or exposed to the related domain along with one of the certification given below
Protocols / Scripting Languages / Domain
TCL/TK, Shell Scripting, Perl scripting, Ethernet, ATM, PPP, VLAN, MPLS, VLAN, RIP, LSIP, OSPF, BGP, ISIS, RSVP, Traffic Generators, Embedded, VOIP
(Candidates expected to have basic knowledge of networking and hands on testing experience)
Certifications - CCNA, CCIP, JNCIA, JNCIE, JNCIP, BSCI, BSCN
· Knowledge of communication systems and networking as relevant (for example, telephony, switching, cellular, VoIP systems)
· Knowledge base to quickly pick up operation of test tools like Protocol Analyzers, Load Generators and System Testers etc…
· Knowledge and skills of developing scripts (using shell, Tcl-Tk, Perl etc) and updating them
· Ability to observe carefully during test execution and analyze cause and identify patterns
· Ability to systematically compile test results and provide test status of own work
· Good analytical ability
Soft Competencies
· Ability to work well in a team carrying out own part and helping to pull and achieve as a team
· Ability to constructively raise issues with peers/superiors
· Ability to communicate well within team
· Good command of written English
